अनुच्छेद

अनुच्छेद-लेखन की परिभाषा: 

किसी एक भाव या विचार को व्यक्त करने के लिए लिखे गये सम्बद्ध और लघु वाक्य-समूह को अनुच्छेद-लेखन कहते हैं।

अथवा

किसी घटना, दृश्य अथवा विषय को संक्षिप्त किन्तु सारगर्भित ढंग से जिस लेखन-शैली में प्रस्तुत किया जाता है, उसे अनुच्छेद-लेखन कहते हैं।

‘अनुच्छेद’ शब्द अंग्रेजी भाषा के ‘Paragraph’ शब्द का हिंदी पर्याय है। अनुच्छेद ‘निबंध’ का संक्षिप्त रूप होता है। इसमें किसी विषय के किसी एक पक्ष पर 80 से 100 शब्दों में अपने विचार व्यक्त किए जाते हैं।

अनुच्छेद में हर वाक्य मूल विषय से जुड़ा रहता है। अनावश्यक विस्तार के लिए उसमें कोई स्थान नहीं होता। अनुच्छेद में घटना अथवा विषय से सम्बद्ध वर्णन संतुलित तथा अपने आप में पूर्ण होना चाहिए।

अनुच्छेद की भाषा-शैली सजीव एवं प्रभावशाली होनी चाहिए। शब्दों के सही चयन के साथ लोकोक्तियों एवं मुहावरों के समुचित प्रयोग से ही भाषा-शैली में उपर्युक्त गुण आ सकते हैं।

इसका मुख्य कार्य किसी एक विचार को इस तरह लिखना होता है, जिसके सभी वाक्य एक-दूसरे से बंधे होते हैं। एक भी वाक्य अनावश्यक और बेकार नहीं होना चाहिए।

कार्य

अनुच्छेद अपने-आप में स्वतन्त्र और पूर्ण होते हैं। अनुच्छेद का मुख्य विचार या भाव की कुंजी या तो आरम्भ में रहती है या अन्त में। उच्च कोटि के अनुच्छेद-लेखन में मुख्य विचार अन्त में दिया जाता है।

अनुच्छेद लिखते समय किन बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए

  • अनुच्छेद लेखन में संकेत-बिंदु या रूपरेखा अवश्य बनानी चाहिए।
  • विषय से बाहर कुछ भी नहीं लिखना चाहिए। 
  • अनुच्छेद लेखन में अनावश्यक विस्तार से बचें। 
  • संकेत बिंदुों को ध्यान में रख कर ही लिखना चाहिए।
  • अनुच्छेद लिखने की भाषा शैली सरल, सहज, सजीव, प्रभावशाली व पठनीय होनी चाहिए।
  • छोटे-छोटे वाक्यों का प्रयोग बहुत अच्छा होता है।
  • विराम चिन्ह, कोमा आदि का ध्यान रखना चाहिए।
  • शब्द सीमा 100 से 120 से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।
  • अनुच्छेद में विषय के किसी एक ही पक्ष का वर्णन करें।
  • अनुच्छेद-लेखन में विषय से संबंधित विचारों को क्रमवार तरीके से रखा जाता है। ताकि उसे पूर्णता दी जा सके। विषय से हट कर किसी भी बात का उल्लेख नहीं करना चाहिए।
  • अनुच्छेद लेखन में मुख्य विचार अन्त में अवश्य लिखा जाता है।
  • अनुच्छेद लेखन में कहावतें, मुहावरों, सूक्ति, कवितायें आदि का प्रयोग भी किया जा सकता है।

अनुच्छेद की प्रमुख विशेषताएँ निम्नलिखित है

  1. अनुच्छेद किसी एक भाव या विचार या तथ्य को एक बार, एक ही स्थान पर व्यक्त करता है। इसमें अन्य विचार नहीं रहते।
  2. अनुच्छेद के वाक्य-समूह में उद्देश्य की एकता रहती है। अप्रासंगिक बातों को हटा दिया जाता है।
  3. अनुच्छेद के सभी वाक्य एक-दूसरे से गठित और सम्बद्ध होते है।
  4. अनुच्छेद एक स्वतन्त्र और पूर्ण रचना है, जिसका कोई भी वाक्य अनावश्यक नहीं होता।
  5. उच्च कोटि के अनुच्छेद-लेखन में विचारों को इस क्रम में रखा जाता है कि उनका आरम्भ, मध्य और अन्त आसानी से व्यक्त हो जाय।
  6. अनुच्छेद सामान्यतः छोटा होता है, किन्तु इसकी लघुता या विस्तार विषयवस्तु पर निर्भर करता है।
  7. अनुच्छेद की भाषा सरल और स्पष्ट होनी चाहिए।

यहाँ निम्नलिखित अनुच्छेदों दिया  हैं।

  1. समय किसी के लिए नहीं रुकता

समय’ निरंतर बीतता रहता है, कभी किसी के लिए नहीं ठहरता। जो व्यक्ति समय के मोल को पहचानता है, वह अपने जीवन में उन्नति प्राप्त करता है। समय बीत जाने पर कार्य करने से भी फल की प्राप्ति नहीं होती और पश्चात्ताप के अतिरिक्त कुछ हाथ नहीं आता। जो विद्यार्थी सुबह समय पर उठता है, अपने दैनिक कार्य समय पर करता है तथा समय पर सोता है, वही आगे चलकर सफलता व उन्नति प्राप्त करता है। जो व्यक्ति आलस में आकर समय गँवा देता है, उसका भविष्य अंधकारमय हो जाता है। संतकवि कबीरदास जी ने भी कहा है :

”काल करै सो आज कर, आज करै सो अब।
पल में परलै होइगी, बहुरि करेगा कब।।”

समय का एक-एक पल बहुत मूल्यवान है और बीता हुआ पल वापस लौटकर नहीं आता। इसलिए समय का महत्व पहचानकर प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को नियमित रूप से अध्ययन करना चाहिए और अपने लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति करनी चाहिए। जो समय बीत गया उस पर वर्तमान समय बरबाद न करके आगे की सुध लेना ही बुद्धिमानी है।

  1. अभ्यास का महत्त्व

यदि निरंतर अभ्यास किया जाए, तो असाध्य को भी साधा जा सकता है। ईश्वर ने सभी मनुष्यों को बुद्धि दी है। उस बुद्धि का इस्तेमाल तथा अभ्यास करके मनुष्य कुछ भी सीख सकता है। अर्जुन तथा एकलव्य ने निरंतर अभ्यास करके धनुर्विद्या में निपुणता प्राप्त की। उसी प्रकार वरदराज ने, जो कि एक मंदबुद्धि बालक था, निरंतर अभ्यास द्वारा विद्या प्राप्त की और ग्रंथों की रचना की। उन्हीं पर एक प्रसिद्ध कहावत बनी :

”करत-करत अभ्यास के, जड़मति होत सुजान।

रसरि आवत जात तें, सिल पर परत निसान।।”

यानी जिस प्रकार रस्सी की रगड़ से कठोर पत्थर पर भी निशान बन जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार निरंतर अभ्यास से मूर्ख व्यक्ति भी विद्वान बन सकता है। यदि विद्यार्थी प्रत्येक विषय का निरंतर अभ्यास करें, तो उन्हें कोई भी विषय कठिन नहीं लगेगा और वे सरलता से उस विषय में कुशलता प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।

  1. विद्यालय की प्रार्थना-सभा

प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी के लिए प्रार्थना-सभा बहुत महत्त्वपूर्ण होती है। प्रत्येक विद्यालय में सबसे पहले प्रार्थना-सभा का आयोजन किया जाता है। इस सभा में सभी विद्यार्थी व अध्यापक-अध्यापिकाओं का सम्मिलित होना अत्यावश्यक होता है। प्रार्थना-सभा केवल ईश्वर का ध्यान करने के लिए ही नहीं होती, बल्कि यह हमें अनुशासन भी सिखाती है।

हमारे विद्यालय की प्रार्थना-सभा में ईश्वर की आराधना के बाद किसी एक कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा किसी विषय पर कविता, दोहे, विचार, भाषण, लघु-नाटिका आदि प्रस्तुत किए जाते हैं व सामान्य ज्ञान पर आधारित जानकारी भी दी जाती है, जिससे सभी विद्यार्थी लाभान्वित होते हैं।

जब कोई त्योहार आता है, तब विशेष प्रार्थना-सभा का आयोजन किया जाता है। प्रधानाचार्या महोदया भी विद्यार्थियों को सभा में संबोधित करती हैं तथा विद्यालय से संबंधित महत्त्वपूर्ण घोषणाएँ भी करती हैं।

प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को प्रार्थना-सभा में पूर्ण अनुशासनबद्ध होकर विचारों को ध्यानपूर्वक सुनना चाहिए। प्रार्थना-सभा का अंत राष्ट्र-गान से होता है। सभी विद्यार्थियों को प्रार्थना-सभा का पूर्ण लाभ उठाना चाहिए व सच्चे, पवित्र मन से इसमें सम्मिलित होना चाहिए।

  1. मीठी बोली का महत्त्व

‘वाणी’ ही मनुष्य को अप्रिय व प्रिय बनाती है। यदि मनुष्य मीठी वाणी बोले, तो वह सबका प्यारा बन जाता है और उसमें अनेक गुण होते हुए भी यदि उसकी बोली मीठी नहीं है, तो उसे कोई पसंद नहीं करता।

इस तथ्य को कोयल और कौए के उदाहरण द्वारा सबसे भली प्रकार से समझा जा सकता है। दोनों देखने में समान होते हैं, परंतु कौए की कर्कश आवाज और कोयल की मधुर बोली दोनों की अलग-अलग पहचान बनाती है, इसलिए कौआ सबको अप्रिय और कोयल सबको प्रिय लगती है।

”कौए की कर्कश आवाज और कोयल की मधुर वाणी सुन।

सभी जान जाते हैं, दोनों के गुण।।”

मनुष्य अपनी मधुर वाणी से शत्रु को भी अपना बना सकता है। ऐसा व्यक्ति समाज में बहुत आदर पाता है। विद्वानों व कवियों ने भी मधुर वचन को औषधि के समान कहा है। मधुर बोली सुनने वाले व बोलने वाले दोनों के मन को शांति मिलती है। इससे समाज में प्रेम व भाईचारे का वातावरण बनता है। अतः सभी को मीठी बोली बोलनी चाहिए तथा अहंकार व क्रोध का त्याग करना चाहिए।

  1. रेलवे प्लेटफार्म पर आधा घण्टा

रेलवे स्टेशन एक अद्भुत स्थान है। यहाँ दूर-दूर से यात्रियों को लेकर गाड़ियाँ आती है और अन्य यात्रियों को लेकर चली जाती है। एक प्रकार से रेलवे स्टेशन यात्रियों का मिलन-स्थल है। अभी कुछ दिन पूर्व मैं अपने मित्र की अगवानी करने स्टेशन पर गया। प्लेटफार्म टिकट लेकर मैं स्टेशन के अंदर चला गया।

प्लेटफार्म नं. 3 पर गाड़ी को आकर रुकना था। मैं लगभग आधा घण्टा पहले पहुँच गया था, अतः वहाँ प्रतीक्षा करने के अतिरिक्त कोई चारा न था। मैंने देखा कि प्लेटफार्म पर काफी भीड़ थी। लोग बड़ी तेजी से आ-जा रहे थे।

कुली यात्रियों के साथ चलते हुए सामान को इधर-उधर पहुँचा रहे थे। पुस्तकों और पत्रिकाओं में रुचि रखने वाले कुछ लोग बुक-स्टाल पर खड़े थे, पर अधिकांश लोग टहल रहे थे। कुछ लोग राजनीतिक विषयों पर गरमागरम बहस में लीन थे।

चाय वाला ‘चाय-चाय’ की आवाज लगाता हुआ घूम रहा था। कुछ लोग उससे चाय लेकर पी रहे थे। पूरी-सब्जी की रेढ़ी के इर्द-गिर्द भी लोग जमा थे। महिलाएँ प्रायः अपने सामान के पास ही बैठी थीं। बीच-बीच में उद्घोषक की आवाज सुनाई दे जाती थी। तभी उद्घोषणा हुई कि प्लेटफार्म न. 3 पर गाड़ी पहुँचने वाली है।

चढ़ने वाले यात्री अपना-अपना सामान सँभाल कर तैयार हो गए। कुछ ही क्षणों में गाड़ी वहाँ आ पहुँची। सारे प्लेटफार्म पर हलचल-सी मच गई। गाड़ी से जाने वाले लोग लपककर चढ़ने की कोशिश करने लगे। उतरने वाले यात्रियों को इससे कठिनाई हुई। कुछ समय बाद यह धक्कामुक्की समाप्त हो गई। मेरा मित्र तब तक गाड़ी से उतर आया था। उसे लेकर मैं घर की ओर चल दिया।

  1. मित्र के जन्म दिन का उत्सव

मेरे मित्र रोहित का जन्म-दिन था। उसने अन्य लोगों के साथ मुझे भी बुलाया। रोहित के कुछ रिश्तेदार भी आए हुए थे, किन्तु अधिकतर मित्र ही उपस्थित थे। घर के आँगन में ही समारोह का आयोजन किया गया था। उस स्थान को सुरुचिपूर्ण ढंग से सजाया गया था। झण्डियाँ और गुब्बारे टाँगे गए थे।

आँगन में लगे एक पेड़ पर रंग-बिरंगे बल्ब जगमग कर रहे थे। जब मैं पहुँचा तो मेहमान आने शुरू ही हुए थे। मेहमान रोहित के लिए कोई-न-कोई उपहार लेकर आते; उसके निकट जाकर बधाई देते; रोहित उनका धन्यवाद करता। क्रमशः लोग छोटी-छोटी टोलियों में बैठकर गपशप करने लगे। संगीत की मधुर ध्वनियाँ गूँज रही थीं।

एक-दो मित्र उठकर नृत्य की मुद्रा में थिरकने लगे। कुछ मित्र उस लय में अपनी तालियों का योगदान देने लगे। चारों ओर उल्लास का वातावरण था।

सात बजे के लगभग केक काटा गया। सब मित्रों ने तालियाँ बजाई और मिलकर बधाई का गीत गाया। माँ ने रोहित को केक खिलाया। अन्य लोगों ने भी केक खाया। फिर सभी खाना खाने लगे। खाने में अनेक प्रकार की मिठाइयाँ और नमकीन थे। चुटकुले कहते-सुनते और बातें करते काफी देर हो गई।

तब हमने रोहित को एक बार फिर बधाई दी, उसकी दीर्घायु की कामना की और अपने-अपने घर को चल दिए। वह कार्यक्रम इतना अच्छा था कि अब भी स्मरण हो आता है।

What is Nutrition?

  • Nutrition is the mode of taking in food by an organism and its utilisation by the body.
  • Nutrients in animal – These are the substances required by our body for its growth, repair, work and maintenance of the body. Different types of nutrients are carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals etc. Our daily energy need may vary according to our occupation, age, sex and under some specific conditions.
  • The nutrients present in the food help living organisms to build their body and to grow and repair damaged parts of the body.

Autotrophic

It is a mode of nutrition in which organisms prepare their own food. Inorganic molecules like CO2 and H2O are converted into organic molecules like carbohydrates in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

E.g. Green plants. Autotrophs are further categorized as:

  • Photoautotrophs: Those which utilize sunlight for preparing their food e.g. green plants.
  • Chemoautotrophs: Those which utilize chemical energy for preparing their food, e.g. Purple sulphur bacteria.

Photosynthesis

  • Plants prepare their own food in the presence of sunlight and the green pigment chlorophyll by a process termed as photosynthesis.
  • The process of photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide, water, minerals, sunlight and chlorophyll.
  • During photosynthesis, chlorophyll containing cells of leaves use carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight to synthesise carbohydrates along with the release of oxygen.
  • Carbohydrates ultimately get converted to starch, and hence, the presence of starch in leaves indicates the occurrence of photosynthesis.

Importance of Photosynthesis

  • Photosynthesis is a unique process where solar energy captured by leaves is stored as food in plants.
  • The oxygen released in the atmospheric air during photosynthesis is useful because oxygen is required by all living beings including plants.

Synthesis of Plant food other than Carbohydrates

  • The soil contains some nitrogen-fixing bacteria which convert gaseous nitrogen into a more usable form and release it into the soil.
  • These bacteria are present in the root nodules of leguminous plants.
    Example: Rhizobium is usually found in the roots of gram, peas, moong and other legumes.
  • The plants provide food and shelter to the bacteria, and in return, the bacteria fix nitrogen for the plants.
Rhizobium: nitrogen fixing bacteria – Inanimate Life
  • Certain plants convert carbohydrate into oils and store them in seeds. Example: Sunflower seeds. The oil obtained from plant seeds is commonly known as vegetable oil.
  • Vitamins made by plants are contained in vegetables, fruits and cereals.
  • Plants combine some of the carbohydrate (made during photosynthesis) with nitrate minerals (obtained from soil) to make amino acids which are then made into proteins.

Other Modes of Nutrition in Plants

  • Some plants lack chlorophyll and hence, are unable to prepare their own food. This type of nutrition is termed as heterotrophic nutrition. Examples: Humans and all animals.

Replenishment of Nutrients in Soil

  • Plants use nutrients available in the soil. Due to this, the amount of nutrients keeps declining in the soil.
  • Fertilisers and manures which contain phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen etc. are constantly added to the soil from time to time to enrich the soil.
  • Gardeners also use fertilisers in lawns and potted plants.
  • Two common types of fertilisers are NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium) and Urea.
  • In addition, the association between nitrogen-fixing bacteria and plants provides nitrogen, and hence, farmers need not add nitrogen fertiliser to the soil where leguminous plants grow.
